DISCOVER THE PROJECT
PAULAPÄÄKKÖNEN
Paula Pääkkönen (1990) is a glassblower and artist. She works in the famous glass village of Nuutajärvi, Finland. Glass is her preferred material because it’s so challenging to work with and because glassblowing techniques are an endless source of inspiration for her.
As an artist, she is currently working with the themes of childhood, memories and imagination. In 2024, she was among the international talents selected for “Homo Faber: The Journey of Life”, an exhibition on craftsmanship curated by Luca Guadagnino and Nicolò Rosmarini that was hosted by the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, in Venice.

Inaugurated on the occasion of Milan Design Week, the “Summer Together” exhibition will be on display until mid-May at the United Colors of Benetton store ar Corso Vittorio Emanuele 9, in Milan. Check out the pictures of the inauguration!
